The Mercy OB/GYN Women’s Center
The
Mercy OB/GYN Women’s Center, located
in the Medical Office Building at the hospital offers gynecological
and obstetrical care to women including maternal/fetal; services
for high-risk mothers and infants. The Center also serves as a breast
and cervical cancer screening site for Oakland County. For more information

Clínica Santa Teresa
Clínica Santa Teresa, located at 55 Clinton
Street in Pontiac, offers routine gynecological and obstetrical care
to Hispanic women in collaboration with Easter Seals. For more information

Healthy Start/Healthy Families Oakland
Healthy Start/Healthy
Families Oakland is a home visitation program that is offered to women
prenatally and to the families of newborns. The focus is on helping parents
give their children the best possible start in life by providing a weekly
home visitor who gives information, guidance and support. For more information,

Mercy Place
Mercy Place is a free outpatient clinic affiliated
with St. Joseph Mercy Oakland, which provides comprehensive health care,
treatment and prevention to uninsured people who do not qualify for other

Nurturing Parent
Nurturing Parent is a program designed to meet the
unique needs of couples parenting young children in the first five years
of life. Parents and their children participate in weekly sessions with
parents of other young children. Topics include baby-proofing your home,
appropriate discipline techniques for toddlers and preschoolers, and
handling the stress as well as the joy of being a parent. For more information,

Connect For Kids
Connect For Kids is a program to help answer
important questions about your baby’s or young child’s
physical and emotional development. Participating parents receive
regular newsletters as well as an Ages & Stages
Questionnaire that helps parents keep track of their child’s growth
and accomplishments to share this information with their child’s

The SJMO Department of Maternal/Fetal Medicine
The SJMO Department
of Maternal/Fetal Medicine is staffed by perinatalogist, registered nurses,
and certified sonographers, and offers outpatient services such as nonstress
testing, amniocentesis, ultrasounds, genetic testing and consultative

Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
The Level
III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit combines the latest technology for the
treatment of sick newborns with the personalized care of a skilled staff
of neonatalogists.
