Surgical Services
Two separate surgical centers, dozens of experienced
surgeons
St. Joseph Mercy Oakland has two separate surgical campuses. One is located
on the second floor of the hospital and is focused primarily on the inpatient
surgical patient. Specialty surgical services offered here include:
- Urology.
- Orthopedic (including joint replacements).
- Cardiovascular.
- Thoracic.
- General.
- Vascular.
- Colorectal.
- Gynecological.
The SJMO Ambulatory Surgical Center campus is located on Fulton Street, and is SJMO’s outpatient surgical center, offering specialty surgical services such as:
- ENT.
- Orthopedic.
- General.
- Gynecological.
- Podiatric.
- Plastic and reconstructive.
Parking and directions
All surgical and procedure patients must check
in at 2 West on the second floor of the hospital. Please park in the
parking structure. 2 West is located in the main hospital. Take the C
elevators to the second floor. Make a right when you get out of the elevator
and come to the 2 West nurses station. Please let us know anything we
