With physical and occupational therapy to neurological
services, therapeutic recreational programs, and support groups, St. Joseph
Mercy Oakland (SJMO) offers comprehensive rehabilitation for any level of
disability.
SJMO offers a full range of rehabilitation services for both adults and children, including inpatient care and outpatient therapy at numerous clinics throughout North Oakland County. SJMO offers in-home therapy as well.
A team approach
Depending upon the diagnosis, each patient receives care
from a team of rehabilitation experts that can include physicians, psychiatrists,
nurses who are certified in rehabilitative nursing, physical, occupational,
and speech therapists, along with neuropsychologists and social workers.
The team works with each patient as well as with their families to maximize their functional status and enable them to attain the highest quality of life.
