The Structural Heart Program at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland combines a multidisciplinary team of cardiovascular specialists with advanced minimally invasive treatment solutions to provide patients with complex structural heart disease with the best possible outcomes. Structural heart disease typically refers to cardiac disease and defects which may be congenital (from birth) in nature, but may also include abnormalities of the valves and vessels of the heart that develop over time or through other disease processes. St. Joe's Structural Heart Team consists of physicians and health care providers from many heart and vascular specialties including interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery and cardiac imaging.
Close Collaboration Among Heart Specialists
