Colorectal Cancer Screening Statement
Colorectal Cancer screening is now considered a preventative health service and an essential benefit under the Affordable Care Act. That means everyone now has coverage to receive this vital screening for free. Therefore, we are not planning to host the free colorectal cancer screening program that we have hosted previously. St. Joes continues to encourage everyone age 50 and over—or those who meet criteria to be screened earlier for the disease— to talk with their primary care physician about getting screened. If you need a primary care physician, please call our referral line at 1 800-372-6094 for assistance.
