St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Offers Free Smoking Cessation Program
Three-session program offers education and counseling
Pontiac, Mich – St. Joseph Mercy Oakland will offer a free three-session Smoking Cessation program in June.
The program will provide education and counseling to help attendees quit smoking for good. Program sessions will be taught by trained smoking cessation educators.
Enrollees must attend all three program sessions, which will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 11 and 18. An optional individual counseling session will be offered the same hours on Wednesday, July 2. All sessions will meet in the Community Room of the new Cancer Resource and Support Center at the Alice Gustafson Center on the hospital campus, 44405 Woodward Ave., Pontiac, MI 48341.
Those who complete the first three sessions will receive a one-month free membership to the St. Joe Wellness Center within the hospital.
