David Brandon To Speak At St. Joseph Mercy Oakland
Annual Fall Spectacular Fund Raiser
Athletic Director is Celebrity Speaker
Pontiac, Mich.—David Brandon, University of Michigan Athletic Director, will be the celebrity speaker when St. Joseph Mercy Oakland (SJMO) holds its annual Fall Spectacular fund raiser at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3 at The Townsend Hotel, 100 Townsend St., Birmingham. Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Orthopedic and the Joint Care Center to be located in the new South Patient Tower (scheduled for completion- Spring 2014).
Dr. Safa and Bonnie Kassab and Dave and Sandy Rozema are the honorary co-chairs for the event. Benefit chairpersons are Pam Boutrous, Mary Caughlin, Malti Patel, Kathy Schwartz and Nancy Smith.
The Sehn Family Foundation will receive the hospital’s prestigious Mercy Legacy Award at the Fall Spectacular. The award is presented to those individuals or organizations that support the SJMO mission and charitable causes. Sehn family members have been active McAuley Club Life Members and have supported many SJMO programs.
Guy Gordon of WDIV-TV Channel 4 will return as the celebrity master of ceremonies.
Barton Malow is the presenting sponsor for the event.
