Saks Fifth Avenue Forms Local Charitable Partnership With St. Joseph Mercy Oakland
5 Percent of Registered Purchases Benefit SJMO’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Troy, Mich.—This February, Saks Fifth Avenue will give 5 percent of all registered purchases made with a Saks Fifth Avenue credit card back to local charities—including St. Joseph Mercy Oakland (SJMO).
Customers may select to which local charity from Saks’ roster they wish to allocate their 5 percent contribution. Registration is one simple step at the point of sale to link the customer account with the chosen charity. One of the charitable choices at the Saks Fifth Avenue store at the Somerset Collection in Troy (2901 W. Big Beaver) is SJMO. The hospital will use funds raised to benefit the hospital’s tiniest patients, the babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Participation is easy. Here’s how the program works:
Another way to support SJMO is to attend a program Kickoff Party Wednesday, Feb. 8 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Saks Fifth Avenue store at the Somerset Collection. Your $35 ticket entitles you to a $25 Saks gift card, hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, music and shopping.
To purchase a ticket or for more information, call Teri Donaldson in SJMO’s Fund Development department, 248-858-3553.
